Fast checkout, honest stock

A bottle store lives on volume and margin. OndyPOS gives the cashier a quick bar of best sellers and a search that finds any product by name or barcode, so a plug-in USB scanner works like a keyboard. Cash, card and mobile money are separate tenders and the drawer count at shift end is compared with what the system expects.

Every sale reduces stock immediately, so the owner sees real levels from anywhere rather than the number from last month's count.

Purchasing, cost prices and margin

  • Suppliers with contact details and the products they supply.
  • Purchase orders built from a low-stock suggestion, sent, then received against the delivery; receiving updates stock and the cost price.
  • Cost and selling prices on every product, so the profit report shows margin by item and category.
  • Price rules for weekend specials or bulk offers that switch on and off by schedule.

Shrinkage and control

Losses in retail come from the gap between what was received, what was sold and what is on the shelf. OndyPOS keeps a movement ledger for every product, runs stock takes on a phone and posts the variance, records wastage and breakages with a reason, requires a manager PIN for refunds and voids, and keeps an audit log of who did what. Refunds can restock the item or not, and the owner's login can be protected with two-factor sign-in.

More than one shop

Branches are unlimited. Stock is transferred between shops with a two-step transfer that the receiving shop confirms, staff belong to a branch, and the roll-up report shows sales, transactions and share of takings for every branch side by side. CSV exports of sales, sale lines and stock movements go to the accountant.
